Public Beta: Taking HomeScreen Creator like functionality to the web. Toggle layers on and off as needed in a non-destructive manner. No longer will you need to start over on a layout if you mis-selected a layer. Public beta focuses on large home screen layouts for now.
Give your Lock Screen the classic iOS look. Choose image wallpapers from your photo albums, a specific image, or from classic wallpapers collection. Modernized for iOS 16's new Lock Screen with widget support.
Relevant information as your day progresses like current weather condition, rain chance, high and low, along with other live weather info based on the current hour. Or get a glimpse in to tomorrow.
Build an image using provided assets to then overlay on your Home Screen wallpaper. Hide notch, style the dock, add icon shadows, add widget shadows, mask wallpapers, build/save layouts.
iPhones 14 series and newer may have been missing the classic bump & bump2 dock from the content folder. I pushed an update to these packages. If you'd like the bump docks back, you can rename your content folder to anything else, and HSC will download the latest content folder. 16 Pro widget images were exported @1x by mistake. Properly scaled widget assets are now included in the content package for 16 Pro.
Apple removed our access to the mobilegestalt file. This file told my shortcuts the exact device name without asking the user what device they're on. Glance 1.28 will now ask you what device you're on, if a device hasn't been selected.
iPhone's 16 Pro & 16 Pro Max are now supported. You may need to delete your Wetr folder if you've upgraded phones from something older and used Wetr in the past.
If you spot alignment issues or errors with these 2 devices, please let me know!
iPhone 8+ support has been added. If you're still on a touchID device and ClassicLS doesn't work for you, please let me know and I'll add support. Now that 8+ is supported, it may be as simple as adding other devices to it's same config.
I'm aware Wetr, Glance & ClassicLS will need custom assets to be made to fit these devices properly. Please be patient while I work on these projects over the following weeks. I'll try to get support up asap.
_________ In the meantime, for Wetr, I duplicated iPhone 15 to 16, 15 Plus to 16 Plus, 15 Pro to 16 Pro and 15 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max. This allows wetr to work, but with minor alignment issues. To alleviate this, you can use the no hole version of the theme for now.
Reintroduces Unsplash Search feature. Unsplash has officially closed their source endpoint. The only way to access this feature now is to acquire a free API key through Unsplash.
4. Create a new application, find your access key then copy it. Glance will ask for it when you apply the setting.
5. Your API key is only ever stored on your device. Broank doesn't access it, nor can see it in anyway. Shortcuts may prompt you for permission and may look like the file is being sent somewhere, but it's simply just being referenced from the Glance settings file.
Now supports light & dark (dynamic) wallpapers based off what appearance mode you have on. Select a single image for each, or shuffle a photo album for each.
New update with Initial support for iPhones on iOS 18. You can see which devices are currently supported here. Some quality of life improvements:• When building a layout, "No, I have a Layout." option will now save the selected layout to the cache, so using "Use Previous" option will correctly pull the the layout selected with "No..." for future runs.• Add's a static wallpaper setting. Allows you to set a permanent wallpaper and skip wallpaper actions completely.• Save to photos action now simply saves to photos app instead of asking for an album. Makes saving faster and easier.• Fixes string in file location pop-up.
Homescreen Creator assets need to be updated to fit devices running iOS 18.
I'm working on adding support per device, based off popularity/request in the discord server. If you use HSC and it's broken for you on iOS 18, please let me know and I'll get your device up and running asap.
Wetr is being rebuilt from the ground up for iOS 16.2+ and will support more modern devices. To access the beta, join the discord.
Broank Web App (PWA) on iOS 17 beta 2
Some aspects including but not limited to javascript functions and or css media queries like (prefers-color-scheme:) on the site don't seem to be working in PWA environment.
Glance has been running very smoothly on iOS 17 beta 1. The only problem is using Home Screen wallpaper causes errors, so in Glance Hub/Settings, turn off Home Screen wallpaper to use Glance without errors.
Version 1.26 of Glance is a behind the scenes type of update that moves the file system out of iCloud Drive/Shortcuts, to On My iPhone/ to improve stability.
Migrates config & lang to AWS for easier and more flexible updating.
ClassicLS version 0.2 is out now. Also all devices besides 8 Plus is supported. If you're on an 8 Plus and would like ClassicLS to be supported, please contact me.
• The Hub got a fun wintery update • Cleaned up settings page by grouping and moving more advanced settings to their own page.
• Christmas wallpaper event is now live
and Glance 25.2 is out now WHAT'S NEW
• Unsplash wallpaper Search is back. • Moon Phase wallpapers
• Check if new config has new default settings, compare them against settings.json and add what's missing. • Server-side adjustable config update check interval. • Reminder glimpse now uses the reminder's title as the label. • Option to adjust reminder glimpse's label length. • Option to not use reduce motion actions for wallpaper. (experimental) • Option to keep reduce motion on after completion. • Option to prevent lang.json updating. • Includes a 'jam clearing' potential workaround for when settings doesn't want to write to file.
edit: Just pushed 25.4 to try and hopefully fix some issues. Especially for new users.
25.5 simply moves LS wallpaper action to happen after HS wallpaper action.
But for users who started getting labels errors after updating without changing any settings doesn't make much sense to me.
I had more planned for this update in terms of features but I dumped a lot of time in to a Birthday glimpse for this update, which broke inexplicably after working flawlessly for days, so it's delayed for now.
